Cheshire's Got Talent 2009 - Crewe Hall

This years 'Cheshire's Got Talent' will be taking place on Monday 15th June, at Crewe Hall, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale now and proceeds go towards helping young musicians in the local area.

It will be held in the Long Gallery of Crewe Hall and will feature young musicians from the South Cheshire area.

Festival '09 updates - Saturday 29th August

Party in the Park performers - Diana Vickers & Eoghan Quigg

This years Party in the Park is taking shape after it was announced that last year's X-Factor finalist Diana Vickers will be performing at the event. This is an addition to fellow finalist Eoghan Quigg, which will, no doubt, increase demand for the special VIP tickets for the event. They are priced at £9 and will get fans closer to the stage - as well as an opportunity to meet the stars afterwards.

The Party in the Park will be held at King George playing fields this year, due to the continued renovation work at Queen's Park.

MMU Cheshire - Crewe Campus

If you are looking to go into further eductaion, the Machester Metropolitan University has a campus right here in Crewe. It offers a wide range of education from diplomas and degrees to post-graduate and professional subjects.

The facilities are some of the best around, including newly built student accomodation. It is also set on the outskirts of town, but has easy access to the rail station and town centre shops. The new tesco express on Macon Way would also come in handy.

If you are travelling from another town, leave the M6 at junction 16. Follow the signs for Crewe, travelling on the A500 and A5020 for around 5 miles. MMU Crewe is signposted from here. Consider travelling by rail, if you are planning to visit, as the MMU is only 1/2 a mile away from the train station.
